Graphic Designer, Marketing Director, Adjunct Professor... all that AND a bag of chips.
Just my Type
I'm so appreciative of all the support I've received as a designer. This quick illustration is a small way to say "Thank You," for visiting my site and taking the time to view my work. It was a fun .gif to create, using a combination of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
Childrens Book Illustrations
I was asked to illustrate a book for the young author, Rachel Snell. Using a variety of digital painting techniques and brushes, I created a soft, muted color palette that was used throughout the book. All character illustrations were original, based off characters in her story.
Virtual Reality Headset
I had the opportunity to design the "Space Visor" Virtual Reality headset sold at the Kennedy Space Center, along with compact headsets, and the packaging they came in. This headset also comes with three free experiences (Edge of Home, KSC 360 Expedition, Space Dreams) that I created icons for. I made sure to stay within the NASA and Kennedy Space Center's strict branding guidelines to create something the entire team was happy with.
NASA Expedition 360
It was such a "blast" designing a few of the icons and splash pages used by NASA for their Virtual Reality apps! One of these was "Expedition 360". In this icon, the shuttles trail encompasses the words "360" while the signature NASA swoosh moves through it.
Missouri FBLA Signage
While working at Cybis Communications as a Creative Producer, I had the opportunity to give art direction and create themes for a variety of large scale student productions. One of these was the Missouri FBLA conference. Playing off of a route 66 theme, I came up with the idea to create street signage and a style that represented this theme. By utilizing 3d effects in Adobe Photoshop and collaborating with the team, I created this piece.
While in the Graphic Design Program at UCF, we were given the task of creating a set of hand lettered posters. These typography posters were originally sketched out and then brought into illustrator. They are a set of three inspirational posters with the popular quote, "Reach for the moon. Even if you miss, you will land among the stars." Because of this theme, I went with a dark space setting with subtle pops of green and purple in the background to contrast with the pale yellow type.

ADU Annual Report
Won "Best of Category" for On-Demand Annual Reports in the 2017 Florida Print Awards. Despite the tight turnaround, we were able to create an exceptional piece that highlights Adventist University of Health Science's achievements from the previous year. It features a diecut of their symbol on the front, revealing a sneak peak of the gorgeous campus on the inside front page.
While at PUP, I was responsible for creating and updating all TV and iPad content that lined the walls. Our tourstops were long, narrow hallways that the CEO would take visitors through in order to help convey PUP's purpose. I would create interactive PDFs as well as video content using Adobe InDesign, Premiere, and AfterEffects and make all content live on the screens using Kiosk Pro Plus and Digital Signage.
At PUP (Physicians United Plan) I was responsible for the Member Newsletter. This was a quarterly newsletter that went out to over 50,000 members. Each newsletter featured an actual PUP member on the cover, contains updates for the plan, and fun articles for improving their health and well-being. I worked closely with other departments to gather copy and put it into the PUP voice, design it, and then prepare the file to be printed and mailed.
LE Splash Page
Loxahatchee Electronics, a boutique electronics company that specializes in parts for the petroleum industry, was in desperate need of a new splash page that consolidates their various web pages. Custom icons and overlays were created in order to create a more minimal, clean User Interface that makes it easy to navigate.
